Living in a tropical country makes me have to protect my skin from the sun at all times, whether by using sunscreen to choosing the right clothes from head to toe. The skin on my feet had darkened some time ago due to sun exposure so I wore footwear that could cover my feet.
I didn’t think of wearing sneakers but mules instead. I chose these beautiful mules from Sorel X Proenza Schouler Caribou Mules. I first saw Bella Hadid wearing them and they looked casual but very fashionable. And I finally have a pair of my own. I was immediately impressed by the simple but very stylish design.
They look like most mules, but what I love is the wedges which I think emphasize the bold feminine look. It’s a combination of mules and ankle boots, so I’m very grateful that it covers almost all of the foot but it’s not as fussy as sneakers because you can wear it like a slip on. A very helpful shoe.
The materials are also of high quality. Semi-gloss full grain leather for the upper, high-quality rubber midsole and soft cushioning so it’s not hard on the feet. I chose the golden ochre color where there is a mix of black and yellow like mustard. So cute and unique.
