One of the most endearing things is getting gifts, especially ones that fit perfectly in everyday life. For my past birthday, my friend gifted me a Charles & Keith work tote bag. In the last couple of months, I have come to appreciate it more as my favorite everyday work accessory.
My first impression of the bag was the smooth feel. The structure of the bag is of a timeless, professional look.
I have received so many compliments on it from colleagues, and it really adds that touch of sophistication to my outfits, whether I am in business casual or more formal attire.
It is quite the spacious bag. It fits my laptop easily, notebook, and all my personal effects like makeup or snacks without feeling like the bag is overstuffed. Although, to maintain the shape of the bag, I try to keep its content as light as possible.
I really enjoy the several pockets inside though. They keep me from rummaging for my many keys. One thing I must mention is the quality of the zipper. Zippers are a huge deal breaker for me when it comes to bags. I detest flimsy zippers. The ones in the bag glide very smoothly and satisfactorily.
Oh yeah! The bag also has an extra handle which I do not use much of since I like to hold my bag in my arm/hand.
Overall, I’m really impressed with the quality of the Charles & Keith work tote bag. The stitching and overall construction are excellent, and it’s stylish, practical, and functional—everything I need for busy workdays.
